The Young pool renovation was an early spring project in Ancaster that presented the usual challenges from mother nature, due to the time of season, coupled with some topical challenges from their scalloped/sloped backyard and the clients’ wishes to preserve mature plantings and existing multi-tiered rock gardens around their property. This project was exceptionally special for the Young family as their motivation to renovate the pool area was to create a functional, contemporary pool for their grandchildren and for all future generations to enjoy!
One of the must-haves for the Young family was to build-in an entry step for the kids, to make getting in and out of the pool easy without sacrificing any patio space around the pool. Our team was able to custom-build an inside corner step, which proved to be more challenging due to their shorter pool wall depth. The end result however, was a beautiful pool entry feature that gave the Young family the sleek contemporary look that they were going for.
