The Varga’s reno project was a perfect blend of new landscaping, courtesy of our friends at Torontario Landscaping, EcoFinish, and pool reno upgrades. We wanted to take this family’s mid 90’s freeform pool and open the backyard space to transform this property into the Varga’s personal backyard dream destination!
Initially, the Varga family really wanted to add two brand new steps to their pool as they had 1 tired old step in the shallow end. The vision was to add a second walk in step to the deep end of their 15′ x 33′ Lagoon pool to allow for ease of entry and exit for children and elder family members who would be enjoying the pool. With the landscape aspect already committed to a new pergola, cabana. expansive stone decking patio and dive rocks at the deep end of pool, the budget on the pool side of this project left little room for the installation of 2 brand new steps. Fortunately, thanks to the benefit of our EcoFinish product and services, we were able to save the tired old shallow end step and transform it with a lovely new French Grey coating; both rejuvenating the step and protecting it for years of enjoyment down the road!
The EcoFinish modification to the step allowed the Varga family enough in the budget to install the brand new step they so desperately wanted in the deep end of their pool; giving the Varga family their desired entry/exit points both in the shallow and deep end locations of the pool. The reno project also included the addition of: all new plumbing, our latest LED Atom lighting system, new liner and a new safety cover to protect both their family and investment throughout the winter months.
