pH Down Is The Chemical That Decreases pH Level!

pH Down is a product that reduces the pH level in a swimming pool or hot tub. pH is the most dynamic factor at play in your pool water. Everything that is added to your water has an effect on it, and in turn, it affects the performance of the major chemicals required to maintain your pool.

It is the measurement of how acidic or basic the water is on a scale of 0-14, where 0 is completely acidic, 14 completely basic and 7 being neutral. The optimum range for your pool is between 7.2-7.8, with 7.4 being ideal which is the pH of your eyes. If your pH is too low, heavy chlorine usage, eye irritation and corrosion of your pool equipment will occur; if it is too high, you will experience low chlorine efficiency, scaling and skin and eye irritation. pH Down decreases the pH level of your swimming pool, therefore please use as directed by a professional.

Please read all labels before adding any chemical to your pool, follow all safety instructions and consult a pool professional if you have any questions.
